million people are affected by Pakistan’s
worst flooding in 80 years, with at least 1,600 fatalities, according
to estimates from the government of Pakistan. While the severity of
their needs has not yet been fully assessed, the number is greater than
those who were affected by the 2005 South Asia tsunami (5 million), the
2005 South Asia earthquake (3 million), or the 2010
Haiti
earthquake (3 million). The estimate of
290,000 homes destroyed or seriously damaged is almost the same as
those destroyed in Haiti.We ask you therefore to please pray for our
dear brothers and sisters in Christ during this time of need. and for
the Christian workers in the field.

Early in January of 2005, God
spoke to the heart of Pastor Rob Rotola of the "Word of Life" church in
Wichita, Kansas the words, "Vision
twenty-twenty." "What does it mean?" was Pastor Rob's reply. The
following mandate was so consuming, so grand in it's scope, that it
took some time for the meaning to fully impact.
"We will win 20
million souls to the Kingdom of God by the end of the year A.D. 2020"
We are just at the beginning of
this great calling. Plans are being laid that will carry us into the
beginning of this 15 year goal for Christ. Relationships with
Missionary organizations are being created that will see literally
millions born-again around the world.
This vision is laid out in
greater detail at 2020worldwide.com, but the highpoints include; over
$500,000 pledged to be given directly to missions over the next three
years by Word of Life alone, three overseas crusades are in the works
right now, and more that $99,300 has already been given towards this
great plan. Obviously, as this plan unfolds, Word of Life church will
grow many times over. We are called by God to be a big church in the
city of Wichita, and we want you to be a part of it. If your hearts
desire is to see the world evangelized, we want you to be a part! There
is a lot of work to do, but the rewards are going to be great as well.
Please pray about the part you are supposed to play. Whether you join
us each week in worship, give financially, or pray, your part in
winning 20 million souls to Jesus is a vital part, and we thank you in
advance for doing what God wants you to do!

Recently, PS
Richard Dobson along with Ps Larry Elliot of Rhema South
Coast Family Church, and members of RSCFC, visited with Pastor Chris
Sontundu a "Methodist
Church Minister", in the town of Umzimkulu, KZN. Pastor Chris had
indicated that he was led by the Holy Spirit to set up a meeting with
Pastor Larry. The meeting was set up for Pastor Larry by Pastor Chris,
to meet with himself and his church board. After a short teaching given
by Pastor Larry the altar call was given and all the members of the
church board as well as three members of Pastor Chris's immediate
family responded and received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. For this
we give GOD all the Praise and Glory.
